INDY CAB is our brand new cab series, which is a further development in our aftermarket cab designs here at Sims Cab Depot. This new style cab incorporates some new styling features while blending some of the better aspects of our Dakota cab and Yukon cab designs.
The front A-posts of the cab are rigid sheet metal components, with an upper curved section to accept our curved, tip-out windshields formerly only found on our Dakota cab products. The other main benefit of this design element is to improve the rigidity of this bolt-together style of cab. The sides, roof and rear cab sections are all bolt-together to help keep shipping costs down, while providing the best value to our customers for fit, form and function. The hard sides will have sliding windows for better ventilation, while soft vinyl inserts will be offered soon for a more economical choice.
This cab is not ROPS certified, but sits in front of the existing, un-modified factory ROPS. Included in this cab is an electric wiper on the safety glass windshield. This cab can be configured with your choice of standard steel roof, or extended steel roof for use on the backhoe equipped models. The left hand hard door is hinged with a secure latching handle and sliding glass window. The right hand side of the cab is fixed with a sliding glass window. The rear of cab has a soft vinyl curtain which is quickly and easily removed for backhoe operation. Your cab can be custom configured below with these and other optional accessories.
Special Fit-up Notes: This cab will fit bare tractors or tractors with a factory loader.
